Funny!

If you like base humor, especially relating to anatomy and adult-themes, combined with a feel-good story with telepathic magical creatures, adventures, brutal fighting and mayhem, read this story!

what a great world to immerse into!

I liked nearly every moment of the audible story. I would love to read it again on paper. Occasionally his voices reminded me of either characters from Bill the Dead or Emperor Palpatine. This is a great first book by an already accomplished storyteller.

Seriously give this one a listen, it’s a nice fun fairly light romp of a story with stellar narration. Definitely got me hankering to snack on some goat people…

This was a great listen, CJF has been an excellent narrator and now he has become an excellent writer. Thank you Christopher for an entertaining book.

What a delightful story!

With many laugh-out-loud and quirky moments and an exciting premise, it wasn't easy to put down. It’s a fun, thrilling story with enough twists to keep readers entertained and engrossed. As a fan of epic fantasy, I expected to love this book but didn’t expect to love it as much as I have. Every dialogue, every scene, and every twist is brilliantly crafted. And since I listened to an audio version, it would be remiss of me not to mention how well-narrated it is. The narration has given it even more depth and made it impossible not to get sucked into this adventurous tale, which, frankly, is hard to categorize into one genre. For me, the humor is the selling point. I don’t remember laughing so much while reading and that’s been truly a pleasure.
