good story line

a lot alike his other books. Story follow the same basic plot, good but repetitive. and Vietnam VeVeteran's would not be working the field in 2010 I feel.

A Great New Series

Allie Lake is a new Narrator to me. Her vocal range is outstanding. The same can be said for her dialects and her character portrayals. simply put her narration abilities bring the story to life.
C.R. Deams has done a fantastic job of making the implausible world of the paranormal seem quite plausible. Even better, it has a progressive explanation that makes complete sense as you read or listen to the story..
Money well spent, purchased both the Kindle version and the Audible. Truly looking forward to book two.

Intriguing story and great narration.

I would not say there is anything in this book that was one-of-a-kind omg amazing but I picked this book up on audible suggestion with only looking at the cover and I was pleasantly surprised by the storyline. Good writing and performance. My only critique would be that I felt like some of the character's back stories could have been more thorough but I guess there's room for that in future books! Looking forward to the next one, story has a lot of potential.

“Feels” like many mispronounced words — little ones. Decent storyline… I generally enjoy Daems’s stories. See where takes this one…
