Atkins ranges from the fascinating theory of entropy (revealing how its unstoppable rise constitutes the engine of the universe), through the concept of free energy, and to the brink, and then beyond the brink, of absolute zero.

Well written and explained. Very detailed information and yet left basic to interpret the fundamentals.

Basics but too Much Verbal Math

This one is OK. it is short. Has some good training but way to much verbalized of equations that leave you in a void.

You can skip it for other physics training unless you have time to kill.
