The Legend of Bob White
In the late 1800’s right before the turn of the century, a boy became a man at sixteen years of age when he tore down the community Christmas tree in a fit of outrage over a beautiful young girl. The downing of the Christmas tree was the harbinger of a changed life, when young Robert ran away from home, headed from his small country town to the industry of the big city.

Nothing about Robert was usual or typical, as the circumstances of his life catapulted him into adulthood during strange and dangerous times, when a single wrong decision could lead to disaster.
Born to a former slave, shortly after the Emancipation Proclamation, Robert was aware of the secret lynchings in the deep backwoods of southern towns, in which no justice was ever sought, or claimed. It was a dangerous time indeed for a runaway child-man of sixteen, whose future was yet to be determined.

The farm boy was about to discover the broader reaches of a wider world, only to come full circle.

Strong hearted men go where the weak dare not tread, rushing into the fires of trouble and the dark places, to save lives that would have been long lost to the tragedies of life.
