I loved how the women in the story were strong and vulnerable.

It was a great historical fiction about women durning WWII! They were strong and trained and they were based on truth!

Brave Woman Agents in Lisbon

I was just taken in by this story of the women spies and how they were trained and carried out their assignments. I can't imagine be thrown into this spy life dangers and finding love. I listened to this mostly while running errands or going to appointments.

Solid reading

Enjoyed the read. No Kristin Hannah or Kate Quinn, but a solid story with well-developed characters.

Interesting history about WWII Portugal

Engaging characters, good plot twists and excellent research on American espionage in Portugal during WWII that included female librarians from United States.

I thought it took a while to get into-kind of predictable but then got better.
