I’m not a critic but I’m enjoying this book and looking forward to the rest of the series!

Good Book

Enjoyed it. Book held my attention. It moved at a good pace. I am told it is much easier to listen to it than to read it.

Entertaining

Story and writing is a little overbearing at times, but it is firmly in the young adult category so to be expected. Good narration.

Engrossing story

In this dystopian future, a young girl with green dreadlocks and black lipstick is just doing her best. Magical realism mixes well with the collapse of society in this captivating listen! I can’t wait to hear more from this author!!

Not crazy about the narrator

The story was interesting enough, I finished it. I think the narrators lack of emotion during the read kind of ruined the exciting parts.
