Exciting and interesting read

Loved it. I read about 6 books a month and would recommend this one.

MZ’s best friend manipulates her into an engagement

M Z or Maura Zurich is the younger sister of Stefan and Luca. She agrees to do her friend Ford a favor and ends up engaged. This is only part 1 of a 3 part story. It is short but still has plenty of filler so it is again one of those trilogies that should have been a duet. The narration was great but 90% was Andi Ardnt/ Elena Wolfe and it would have been better with more Joe Arden. The story starts slowly with the MZ from the earlier series being very less confident and awkward. Ford is a manipulative jerk who eventually becomes more likable and more caring. In addition, the family has a new issue which adds to the drama and the story. I do wish these stories would come in 2 parts rather than a greedy and occasionally boring 3.

honestly, I hated this book when I started. I hated Ford for being arrogant and using Emzee. the solid twist when he realized it though, I'm so glad I stuck it out and I'm currently waiting for book two to download!!! worth the wait for sure!
