She was the only one he would travel through hell to win back...

Winter left Orchid City six years ago with a broken heart and never once looked back. She put it all in the past and was living the life she always dreamed she'd have.

Yet, she was still haunted by those stormy blue eyes.

When her parents leave their estate in Winter's name, she has no choice but to return home. And she finds herself face to face with the very person who broke her heart many years ago.

Malakai traveled the world as a professional golfer running from his own demons.

It's been six years since he pushed away the one person he truly loved. He brought the two of them so many years of heartbreak.

But he finally has the chance to make things right again.

Knowing that Winter is back in their hometown sends Malakai back to where it all started.

And he has no intention of letting her go again…

Lance and Raven were such a great fit for Kai & Winter! They were captivating and told their story beautifully!

I love a second chance romance, and Kai & Winter are a heartbreaking one! My heart broke for them, and then they put it back together.

The flashbacks into their past give a great view into how Kai was treated (HORRIBLY) and how he dealt, and how important Winter was to him. He was so beaten down though that he then broke both of their hearts. I hated it, but came to understand it throughout the book.

Winter, gah I just wanted to hug her too. She never got over Kai, and to me it was like she was just floating through life.

The way Kai pursued Winter was so good. He is grouchy and can't stand most people, but he was a total softie for Winter, which I love.

This was not my favorite by any mean, but I have to admit that the narration had a huge part in that… It just felt forced and fake!

Unfortunately, I do not recommend this audiobook
