Heartbreaking yet uplifting

Story was great. Didn’t want to put it down! Love all of the nonfiction woven into the storyline as well. This author has yet to disappoint!

The story of Kate, the flight nurse.

I didn't like the male voice of Williams daughter and granddaughter. Why didn't you get a female voice for them?

The author brought to life the characters and their roles in wartime.

excellent story about the ravages of war. we'll written and a super emotional roller coaster. Excellent narrator.

It was a little slow in the very beginning but then it was like a page turned! Wanted to know what was next!
