Julius Caesar peaked as one of the most powerful generals in Roman history. In “The Life of Caesar", Plutarch attempts to capture the greatness of this man on paper. With stirring prose, he documents Caesar’s military might and rousing spirit. The biography ends with the details of Caesar’s assassination, but Plutarch assures us that the murderers eventually paid for the deed.

This is interesting, but almost like the narrator wants to say words poorly. At minutes 46 and 59 major mistakes, no cleanup, like first read and no editing. Super bad and cannot understand many words. Just an abomination and waste of money. Story interesting, but narration ruins it completely.

Really bad narration...one of the worst ever

In addition to editing problems-the mistakes of the narrator remain-the audiobook is incomplete. It stops at the end of Caesar’s victory over Vergentorix (Chp 27). Total chapters in Plutarch’s Life of Caesar is 69! Disappointing.

Surprised this scanty account was available for purchase when it was merely a part of the original.

This is incomplete. Amazing that Audible would put it up for sale. Shame.
