Everything in God’s hands

To read through the dependence on Gods will makes this book a enjoyable read.
Bresnahan is superb as usual. She could read the phone book and make it sound exciting.

Great Storytelling!

Suzanne Fisher is a great storyteller. Her characters are lifelike, and her plots consist of intricately woven action and introspection. Her stories are wholesome and full of insight.

Loved All Three Books

If you love Nantucket history, you will love all three books in this series in the proper
Order (otherwise you’ll have spoiler alert!).

The Light Before Day

I want to tell that I have listened to this Book 3 several times before and I do think the story was more clear. So much of the Nantucket history was enjoyable and the characters. Wondering if there is anything true about the history and the Mary's Journal page by page. Was there the terrible fire, some of the characters names? A very well written tale of Nantucket and in the very end telling of how it was annexed to Massachusetts.
Alyssa Bresnahan was just the person to read these stories. Could not have been any better.

Slow then rushed toward the end.

Didn’t really enjoy this one as much as the others in the series. The ending wasn’t great. It felt rushed. Wouldn’t read again.
