The Lithium Economy provides an overview of the global lithium value chain from a variety of perspectives. The first part of the book addresses an overview of the lithium market with a specific emphasis on the Lithium Triangle in South America. Subsequent chapters dive into the specifics of lithium mining in the U.S. Subjects addressed include U.S. mining law, the U.S. mining bureaucracy, mining permitting requirements and how politics affect the lithium value chain in America. The book then conducts a comparative analysis of lithium value chains in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe and China. Other chapters dive into topics such as the lithium-ion battery industry, battery electric vehicles, charging networks, urban mining, battery energy storage systems and Direct Lithium Extraction technology. The final chapter discusses disruption to the lithium value chain to include the COVID19 pandemic, global shipping inflation, and the war in Ukraine. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the lithium industry, as it provides a solid overview of the topic. It can be very helpful for the reader/listener before deciding on the purchase of their next electric car, home solar panel equipment, or even lithium-related company shares. And yes, does Elon Musk regret of not buying Albemarle and SQM instead of Twitter for the same $44bln?

I understand the economica benefits of using a virtual voice. But the virtual voice detaled all of the detailed bibliographies at the end of each chapter. So 10minutes of "ibiids", dates, and citings" at the end of each cfhater. This obviously means that no human reviewed this audiobook before it was released. Very shoddy.
