How did she turn a side hustle into a game-changing business, and at the same time, achieve happiness and fulfillment in her life? For Charlotte, it all came down to one thing - jeong.

One of the most important Korean cultural concepts, jeong is a deep and meaningful connection that can be felt between people, places, and things. It goes deeper than love and friendship and grows stronger with time. In South Korea, jeong encourages generosity, empathy, and the cultivation of lasting bonds.

In The Little Book of Jeong, Charlotte shares how jeong changed her own trajectory in life, landing her a job opportunity in Seoul and giving her the fuel she and her husband, Dave, needed to launch a groundbreaking digital skin-care platform and skin-care line. A personal story that centers around the deep bond she built with Korea, Charlotte reveals how practicing simple acts of jeong can radically change our relationships and challenges us to cultivate jeong in our own lives.

I've been a fan of Charlotte + Soko Glam for years and loved getting to learn more about the intentionality behind Then I Met You and Soko Glam. Charlotte's personal journey was inspiring and she is so humble. Thank you for this window into cheong, Korean culture, entrepreneurship, and life!

I read and listened to this book - first review on Audible and highly recommend.

It’s so much more than understanding Jeong - it’s a very gentle reminder what it means to live with purpose and be a good human to which I found so timely given this global pandemic and isolation everyone is going through.

It’s a short honest autobiography, “self help”, inspirational, and at the heart of delightful story of an Korean American woman succeeding in the world of business, startups, and personal relationships all without the typical bravado and exhausting prescription of the extreme daily routine of “successful entrepreneurs” (ice baths, fasting, diets,
ultra marathons, workouts ,meditation, supplements etc. anyone?)

Listen, I loved Cant Hurt Me by David Goggins as much as the next guy but this is the perfect counterbalance as to what else is important to focus on in life - Jeong.

As an exceptionally normal dude I find myself needing some navy seal inspiration and equally, if not more so, a k-beauty mom/entrepreneur reminder of what life is all about.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Charlotte narrate her own book. She’s a natural performer and it’s very easy on the ears even at 2x

The perfect book we all need today - listen!

Charlotte's book helped me crystallize why we long for - and how I can add more - deep and meaningful relationships to my life. In her book she beautifully balances her personal experiences with her universal suggestions for finding jeong. This book empowered me to take healthy stock of my relationships and instantly improved my life. Thank you, Charlotte (and Dave)!

I love learning about other cultures and have been a fan of Sokoglam skincare for a few years now. I found this book to be both interesting and uplifting. It is especially enjoyable because it is read by the author, Charlotte Cho, who I really admire. I don’t always like her politics, but she and her husband have created an amazing company that is clearly full of heart!

Really enjoyed this one
