Tragedy and Triumph

A tale of survival. This story is a great reminder that with the right attitude, you can rise above trauma and find a new life. Rebecca Heddinger’s narration is captivating. Heddinger is able to keep your attention and give the perfect pacing through moments of abuse, enlightenment, wonder and self-discovery.

Sweet “out of the ashes” story

A satisfying story of a young girl overcoming trauma with the happy ending we all wanted for her. Narrator did a great job of really bringing the emotion to it.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming

What an emotional rollercoaster! I enjoyed the ride and the message that friends are ultimately the family you choose. The narrator was articulate and did a wonderful job voicing the main characters and bringing so much emotion and warmth into the story. Nicely done!

Very emotional story

There was a lot going on in this one, but it was very well balanced. Balancing the emotional thriller with an almost hallmark soft romance was very impressive to me. The narrator did an amazing job conveying the intense emotional roller-coasters that the characters were on. The cute cussing was pretty adorable.
