i enjoy anything Murdaugh Murders

i enjoyed many a cup of coffee listening. Audible makes it so easy to listen on the run.

Interesting subject

But feels like a persuasion that the jury did their duty, which was never a concern .

The perfect tone for this story. Very soothing voice.

The narrator matched the emotions perfectly in each part of the story. She brought it to life. Love the book!

Unique POV From a Juror

What is unique about this book is that is told from the point of view of a juror. I like the concept a lot, but the final product is not as impressive as I had hoped. The book reveals very little new info about the case that countless other books, podcasts and TV shows have not already covered.

The book's most interesting content is the author's account of her behind the scenes/ in the jury room time. I also enjoyed the account of the appeal and the sentencing for the financial crimes, which took place 10 months after the murder trial.

Slow and overly written

The narrator's voice was not very pleasant and very slow-moving. I could not get past chapter three and that was with fast-forward. Overwritten with too many explanations of details that were just not needed. They did succeed in giving you the view from a juror - the bored perspective.
