Great read/listen

Mishka's literary voice and self-deprecation help him weed through some of the finer points in his troubled youth. This is all accented by his scruffy vocal commentary. Each story is a great read/listen on its own, while the collection paints a broad picture of Mishka's growth. His newest book "I swear I'll make it up to you" is another wonderfully told addition for any fan of his work. Enjoy!

Mishka Shubaly ROCKS!!

I have always thought of myself as less-than, incapable, not pretty or interesting enough, and as someone who just doesn't have what it takes. I live in a bubble and am even estranged from myself at times. Life just doesn't feel real. I relate to Mishka so well that although we have never met, I think of him as a brother in a parallel universe. His writing resonates with me exponentially more than most and I love to read. In fact, I carry around a new phrase that is always in the back of my mind and I am not quite sure when it originated. On the rare occasion when I experience a small victory or have a vision of success and make it happen, I chuckle silently think to myself, "You go, Mishka!" I might have even said it aloud a couple times. God knows I've made more than my share of mistakes but Mishka gives me hope. Thank you, Mishka, for following your calling.
