Lords of Creation, the eagerly anticipated finale in S. M. Stirling's acclaimed Lords of Creation series, promises to be a masterful conclusion to a saga that has captivated audiences worldwide. Following the remarkable adventures in The Sky People and In the Courts of the Crimson Kings, this third installment is set to weave the intricate tales of alternate Venus and Mars into a climactic narrative.

In this series conclusion, the richly imagined worlds of a habitable Venus and Mars, each with their own unique civilizations and ecosystems, come alive again. Stirling, known for his meticulous world-building and deep character development, is set to intertwine the fates of characters from both planets, exploring the culmination of their struggles and triumphs. As is common of all of this award winning author's works, listeners can expect an extremely well narrated version of science fiction adventure, political intrigue, and speculative history, all while providing a satisfying resolution to the overarching narrative.

Lords of Creation promises to be the epic conclusion of the journey through Stirling's imaginative and richly detailed versions of Venus and Mars. It is a must-listen for fans of the series and science fiction in general.

Another great Stirling adventure, this time in a Niven-esque space rather than the Burroughsian Venus or Mars...and I'm still not really sure how I feel about it as a capstone on the Lords of Creation trilogy. It really combines everything you might like about Stirling in a punchy package, but fell just a bit flat for me, short of five stars but still worth a listen.

Solid Stirling story

I got excited when I found out there was a new addition to the Lords of Creation. Always expected there to be one. It is not a bad book. I guess it fits into the pattern where now we cover Earth. It just didn’t seem as exciting as the last two. Still. I hope there are more.

Not What I Expected

A less than satisfactory return to the Lords of Creation universe. l say less than because it leaves too much hanging in terms of the primary actors behind it all.

Disapointing

An absolute masterpiece of world building and high adventure. I loved every single page of this book. A great way to end the Lords of Creation trilogy, though I hope and
pray that we get more books in the setting eventually.

I recommend this book in the highest terms!

Great world building and adventure!

A worthy continuation of the series, I enjoyed it as much as the Sky People, if a bit less than Crimson Kings. My only peeve is that the narrator didn't keep the pronunciation of some of the recurring characters, place names and concepts consistent with the previous entries, but that's a common audiobook problem.

Worthy sequel
