This is the best book I have listened to in years. I 100%. recommend this book. The story is captivating I found myself listening to it at every opportunity I had.

Wonderful inspiring story of perseverance

This story was told with such grace and care. Heartbreaking at parts but completely inspiring throughout. A great story of Jews, WWII and women!!

This book was compelling and intricately woven. It was well narrated with attention to dialects. My only complaint was that the plot was a bit slow and the connection with Zoe and her family was held off a bit too long. She was absent for quite a bit of the story.
