Ten-year-old John believes life at the lonely Starfish Point Lighthouse is as predictable as the tides—until a mischievous seagull leads him to a forbidden, dusty attic. There, he discovers a mysterious book whose pages aren't written in ink, but in shimmering, captured starlight. It is the lost log of the legendary Light-Sailor, and it hums with forgotten magic.

Pulled into a quest that unfolds with the rhythm of the waves, John must follow a map of the midnight sun and trust a compass that points to dreams. His journey will take him through glimmering grottos lit by glowing jellyfish, across a sea where footprints are made of moonbeams, and to a secret island that appears only at dawn.

Aided by a boastful barnacle and a wise, ancient sea turtle, John must unravel the riddles of the tides to find The Lumina a magnificent ship that sails not on water, but on starlight itself. He soon learns that the Light-Sailor's treasure isn't gold or jewels, but a secret far more wondrous. The Lost Log of the Light-Sailor is a breathtaking adventure about the magic that connects the deepest oceans to the brightest stars, and the courage it takes to follow a mysterious light into the great unknown.

We loved listening to the narrator; she made the story come alive! The details and descriptive words used truly made us feel like we were there and experiencing the adventure with John. My 8 year old daughter was so into the book that she sat quietly for the entire 30 minutes listening to the story. She said she loved the entire thing.

Amazing descriptive adventure
