Dogs, cats, & mannequins! Love Cemetery, Indiana!

I loved everything about The Love Shack! The story about a pet rescue! The people of Cemetery, Indiana are wonderful! I plan to revisit often!

Sweet story

Sweet story of a women who was involved in a scandal and how she overcomes her past, finds love, friends and a wonderful town to call home. Enjoyed the story although there is some repetition and story fairly simple. There are some delightful dogs too.

Kathleen as a fixture in the town

Loved the Love Shack and all the characters in the book. The dogs and cats were interesting too!

I loved this series. Great heart felt characters . Excellent narration!
The town and Kathleen are bonus characters in books full of unique and beautiful people. I can't believe it's time to leave them behind. Nice job LF.

Insipid Bore.

I listened to about half of this book and couldn't take the thought of another 5 hours so I stopped the torture and deleted it from my phone. The story line was slow to develop, not engaging and the writing was shallow and middle-schoolish. I simply didn't want to read one more time that a character was imagining someone of the opposite sex without their clothes on and what they'd like to do to them. It was a boring read and I lost interest in the characters and often found myself not listening as it droned on and on. I've read a lot of chic lit and enjoyed it. Not this book. A waste of a credit.
Unfortunately, the narrator only added to make this a the dismal listen.
