Great book

Great book, clearly explains what these kids in this age going through where most people at schools have no clue.

Sad

I was disappointed in this book. Sad and depressing. Mother of course had to be the bad guy.

Wow!

I loved this book. I read it as a teenager and recently found it again. This book is a beacon of hope for so many!

Very dated

Dated. You can tell this book was written before HIPAA came into existence. Written by a male psychiatrist/therapist, the amount of time and energy “Sandy Sherman” expended thinking about Katie felt a bit creepy and paternalistic.
