From the time she was just a child, Megan MacDonald’s fate was sealed; a fate she hated because she was forced to join the man who was her enemy: Niall MacLeod. Their parents had arranged their marriage with the sole intention of bringing peace to both clans, but for Megan, Niall was and would remain an enemy to her clan, and especially to her. Unable to prevent the wedding, Megan vows to make his life miserable, and when someone tries to kill the warrior, all the blame falls on her.

Determined to win the trust of the MacLeods and try to change what they think of her, Megan does what she can for them, but the attacks on the clan and Niall escalate, putting both of their lives in danger. But what really shakes the pillars of their lives is the searing fire that burns through them every time they are near each other, rocking their world and sending them into a spiral of passion from which they will find it hard to escape.

the story itself was great! but narration was awful referring to Me Gan as he made it hard to follow.

awful narration

This book was completely ruined by this AI narration. The name Megan was pronounced wrong and the pronouns were wrong. I had to give up and buy the book to read it myself. Once I was able to read some of the book I realized that the pronouns were wrong in the written text. The story itself is also poorly written. Like a child wrote it or it was badly translated from another language. Very disappointing.
