Excellent premise and a great book - but the last section doesn't fit.

I appreciate his environmental ethos - but does not fit with the book.

The book was fine. The author points out a lot of platonic ideals, rather than really telling you much that is new in the self-help genre. It’s more like a long appreciation for a good story. I recognize that he has the best of intentions in writing this book, however it just fell short of being that new or interesting to people who are really well read. Especially the latter half of the book where he just talks about ideals. Ideals are just fantasies in our heads. I’m more interested in reality.

GOOD, BUT PLATONIC IDEALS NOT REAL ADVICE
