It was alright. Felt like it was written for a middle or high schooler but the storyline was Decent.

Just everything stood out

If only it wasn't AI Narration.

AI narration is just awful. I felt like my car navigation system was reading this to me. 😬

Not very witchy and the computer narration did not help. Would not recommend this book. Glad it was free.

Over a series of events, Ettie and her husband, Roman, face increasingly challenging obstacles to keep their magical items shop open in a town prejudiced against them.

This set of Witch & Wizard Mysteries is delightful. While each episode is essentially independent, an overarching plotline joins them together. Nevertheless, the number of supportive townsfolk continues to grow. Ultimately, the culprit is unmasked, allowing Ettie, Roman, and their shop to achieve a tentative equilibrium with the townsfolk. Solid, enjoyable listening.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Romantic. Tragic. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.
