"A Little Romantic Charmer." -- Kindle Reviewer

The town's children are turning into foxes.
And the magic shop is infested with hamsters.
But that’s just a normal day at Ettie’s Enchanted Effects.

When Ettie agreed to be a mail-order witch and move to Watersedge, she dreamt of a loving husband, a supportive family, and a cute town. Instead, she got a secretive father-in-law and a city who clearly doesn’t want witches in their community.

Luckily, she did get that loving husband who she needs more now than ever because someone is sabotaging her new magic shop.

First, she must fix the problem of the second-grade children who turned into foxes.
Then these cute, fuzzy hamsters infest her business.
And finally, all her shop’s magical inventory goes missing.

Someone is clearly trying to shut down her magic shop and drive and drive her and her warlock husband out of town.
But who is it?

Could it be the church-owning neighbor? The nosey reporter? Or the town’s mayor?
Even Ettie’s own father-in-law is a suspect.

Join Ettie and Roman, a magical newlywed couple, through these three mini-mysteries to uncover the puzzle behind Ettie’s Enchanted Effects.

AI narration is just awful. I felt like my car navigation system was reading this to me. 😬

If only it wasn't AI Narration.

Not very witchy and the computer narration did not help. Would not recommend this book. Glad it was free.

Over a series of events, Ettie and her husband, Roman, face increasingly challenging obstacles to keep their magical items shop open in a town prejudiced against them.

This set of Witch & Wizard Mysteries is delightful. While each episode is essentially independent, an overarching plotline joins them together. Nevertheless, the number of supportive townsfolk continues to grow. Ultimately, the culprit is unmasked, allowing Ettie, Roman, and their shop to achieve a tentative equilibrium with the townsfolk. Solid, enjoyable listening.

Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Romantic. Tragic. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.
