Another Great Book

the stories written are so much fun. I look forward to the next one. I really don't like when the narrator changes, even though the new one does a good job.

Patricia has finally arrived in Malta. Her first order of business is to take a flash drive to an operative of the British Intelligence Spy that gave her the mission. Before she can even leave the ship she's accosted by a family who are hyper because they feel the woman's mother has been kidnapped by slave traders. Thus begins a crazy adventure that Patricia did not even see coming. From one gunfight to another, from one spy to another and a kidnapped ship captain Patricia has her hands full.
Sheila Daly Payson is a remarkable narrator who brings the characters to life.

A hoot of a mystery in Malta

I bought the audiobook because of the setting. I love Malta, and I love cruising too. But this rich (with a butler) divorced 60 something sleuth is an amateur. An oops-another-case amateur. And hardly any time is spent on the cruise ship. She and the captain have a boy/girlfriend-with-benefits relationship that - from her own lips - is going nowhere.

But the wild mad-hatter-like race around the island with her trying to hand-off a flash drive with sensitive info on it, and her not trusting ANYONE, while trying to find a "kidnapped" grandma, (and bodies falling dead everywhere) makes you want to stop and catch your breath.

It's a hoot. A book for a rainy afternoon when you need a pickup. As light as a helium balloon.

Too hard to follow and not my kind of book and I am not found of boats.

Great series!

Love these books! Can’t stop listening to them all. I wonder what the series will be like when she is no longer on the ship.
