Thriving in the vibrant atmosphere of a large Evangelical church, he revels in the joy of preaching and quickly becomes a beloved figure within the congregation.

But as his popularity rises, so does the simmering jealousy of the senior pastor, a man who masks his insecurities with a facade of warmth and generosity. When Mike's unwavering belief that “God is love” compels him to defend some lost sheep who don’t fit in, he finds himself at odds with church leadership.

Tensions escalate as a young pastor is hired to enforce a controversial faith statement that threatens to exclude anyone who does not adhere to a strictly Calvinist doctrine. Mike refuses to sign it and is threatened with dismissal. Will his faith and compassion be enough to save him, or will he lose everything for the sake of love?
