Tormented by a recent attempt on her life, Kris Nelson seeks safety in a new town. With an impending threat around every corner, she races against time to figure out Johnny's true identity as an unknown danger hides in the background. She must hurry to work with the rest of the hospital staff before it's too late.

Without knowing it, all their lives are secretly intertwined. On a search to find answers to unresolved questions in their lives, they get closer to the truth and find that things aren't always as they seem. They'll soon find that secrets have a way of coming to light, and when they do, their lives will never be the same. As they piece things together, the Manor's Keeper lurks in the shadows...and she is always watching.

This story was captivating! The way the author described the characters and scenery was as if you were watching the story unfold before your eyes in real life. You become a part of the story. Can't wait to hear it again.
