Critics consider this to be Stevenson's greatest work. For, though there is plenty of adventure, (including midnight duels, pirates, and smugglers), the true merit of the novel comes from the author's masterly portrayal of the fraternal enemies. If you've never read this book, you won't want to miss this!

B J Harrison is an excellent narrator

Great character voices and well performed novel. Robert Louis Stevenson is one of my favorite writers.

Not my cup of tea

Narrator was great but the story was a struggle to finish. The beginning did well to set-up the characters but the story could not support my interest to want to complete.

Classic

Truly a well crafted tale with intriguing characters and a captivating storyline. RLS at his best!
