Catrina time travels back to a western town in the 1800’s where she’s swept off her feet by an attractive brigadier general. While bumping into him on a daily basis, she amuses herself with a bit of matchmaking—Adrian to Katie, a seamstress, and Kendra to Kyle, the village blacksmith—and perseveres to coordinate the union of these friends with their sweethearts at the barn dance.

When Adrian is injured during a train robbery, Catrina comes to the rescue. Later, bandits accost them on the stagecoach, and this time they’re saved by the general who followed Catrina with the intention of asking her to the dance. Subsequently, he shelters her from a freak hail storm and snatches her away from certain death amidst a stampede.

Catrina succeeds in getting all her friends to the dance and has them paired up and enjoying the evening. However, when her handsome suitor is a no-show, she’s left wondering if falling in love with him was a mistake.
