But Halfdan's brutality does not cow the freemen: Rather, it stokes their anger into a red-hot rage that only freeing Odd and extracting further vengeance can cool.

I enjoy all of these stories. it gives me insight into history and is filled with excitement.

The books in James L. Nelson's Viking series just keep getting better and better - and always leave us wanting MORE. I sure hope the next is being sent to the publisher soon.
