I was a little skeptical of the book at first. Sales books are interesting, but as I've hit the phones more and more I've been looking to see what I can do to get a leg up and really push myself to the next level. This book has done it for me. I took religious notes and thought it was well thought out, and to the point. None of the fluffy, I'm so great, buy my book crap. Just good, solid, sound ideas.

Since I downloaded the audiobook version of this book, I've been using some of the techniques discussed in this book to help me get past gatekeepers. Anyone that has to cold call for a living should pick up a copy of this book today.

While I’ll certainly concede that there are some great nuggets of wisdom and innovation, I felt this book oversold and underdelivered.
Mainly, I believe it was too short. Very surface level explanations leave a lot of unanswered questions and left me metaphorically dredging through the elementary stuff to get to the “meat” only to find a unique idea without explanation, examples, role play setup or delivery.
It’s not a BAD book but if you’ve been selling virtually anything for more than a few years, there won’t be much here for you and what is there “for you” won’t be thoroughly explained and walked through to take advantage of.
Just one mans opinion.
