A well told story with a great narrator the setting is stunning and the morals are deep and lovely....

Good Story

Interesting look at the Italian traditions and culture. Inspires hope that God can turn anything around. Looking forward to more from this author/narrator combination. So glad I read it.

Wonderful ending to this heartwarming series. Sadness, happiness and a faithfulness to God bring this story full circle. Narrator amazing!

The Miner's Lady

This takes place, period 1890, Ely, Minnesota. I checked on the map and yes there is an Ely. Reading up about it, mining for ore is still being done today. When she wrote this book, mining was one of the main jobs of actual families. Father to sons. It was difficult and dangerous work. Narration was an easy listen by Stina Nielsen.

Her books are all good, but some have piqued my interest more than others.
This author has focused on different nationalities from many parts of this country. She is a very talented writer to have so much knowledge.
I read that she has written over 80 books, have only listened to about twenty so far. Several authors that I have followed, most are quite different.
