Attention Holding

This is the second installment of the Hester Thursby series or trilogy. I highly recommend reading the first book if you’re interested in this story. Edwin Hill has such smooth writing and storytelling that the time just flies by. While I, of course, like Hester, my favorite character in this installment was Barbara. Favorite scene, was Morgan going back to get Trouble after befriending him.

Very good

I really love this series. But, Hester makes awful decisions. I also think that Morgan needs to step up more in their relationship. That aside, this is an entertaining cozy mystery with an excellent plot and engaging characters. I look forward to the next book .

the book was incredible I was at the edge of my seat with every page

I liked the story up until the end

The ending was very disappointing and I thought I was almost reading a different book the last 15 minutes, very disappointed in the end ending

corny meandering and blah

I think I said it all above. I could not finish it. like a bad lifetime movie. just bleh. the first one was way better. let this world die with that one.
