For ten-year-old Leonard, the attic was just a dusty kingdom of forgotten things. But when he stumbles upon a mysterious humming box, he finds the greatest treasure of all: a map made of starlight that leads to a world beyond his wildest dreams. He tumbles through a ripple in the air and into Mythica, a breathtaking land of floating islands, glowing rivers, and creatures straight out of a fairytale. Yet, a shadow is falling over this magical realm. A sad, Silent King sits on a throne of ice, and the land’s vibrant magic is fading fast. To save Mythica, Leonard must embark on an impossible mission. Joined by a grumpy gnome, a friendly Cloud Giant, and a dragon who has lost his spark, he must navigate the tricky Whispering Woods, escape the clutches of the creeping Shadow Snatchers, and solve a riddle that has stumped Mythica’s wisest creatures. Can one ordinary boy find the courage to face the darkness and reignite the Heart of Mythica before its light goes out forever?

Great narration!

The reader made the story very enjoyable with the pace and annunciation. Great for kids to listen.

Very descriptive

This was a nice short story. The author is very descriptive, and the narrator did well.
