A meddling app says she’s about to meet her match, but which of the four possibilities is the one—and more importantly, is she ready for love? Find out in this novel about family, soul mates, and chasing dreams by the author of Have We Met?

Tiwanda Harris’s thirtieth birthday is a turning point. Gifted her late mother’s journal, Tiwanda is finally getting a glimpse of who her mother was as an adult. Shortly after, the budding entrepreneur receives a grant to jump-start a delicious business opportunity—and her sweet dreams don’t end there. Tiwanda’s been sent a dating app called Met that promises four matches, and among them, her soul mate. All Tiwanda has to do is tap “Yes”...

Though she’s doubtful about fitting romance into her life, the choices are hers. As the matches begin to surface, Tiwanda is surprised to find that maybe there is some future potential there after all. But which one could lead to real love? Only time will tell. That is, if she can find the time.

With her focus split between launching her career, helping heal old family rifts, maintaining friendships while building new ones, and also trying to open her heart to romantic love, chasing so many dreams is leaving Tiwanda breathless. But who knows? With destiny on her side, maybe there’s a chance all those dreams could come true.

Meh. I wanted to like this book but it was not enjoyable. I made it to the end but I was left feeling like I wasted my time. I’m glad it was free

Nothing really stood out. Kind of boring and predictable

This was a cute premise but far too many characters. I really enjoyed when she would read parts of her mothers journal and wished we got more of those instead of the app.

Cute but a lot of characters

I love everything about this book being a Chicago woman and a black woman. it was so delightful to see characters that I could relate to and get a reintroduction to my city that I love. I am totally going to look into seeing if Groupon still exist and trying to see if I can go on a Segway tour if they still available. I was totally reminded of our beautiful museums. I love how is able to identify with the character and her struggles of finding love. and sometimes you may have already met your soulmate and not know.

Just wonderful

Great idea for an app or should I say therapist. Ah, the possibilities. I liked the concept of this story. Her matches were great characters each bringing a different perspective on what “relationship” means. A few good teachable moments as well.
Enjoyed the story and the narrator

The Met app is a great concept

This series just isn’t for me. I found this book to be slightly better than the previous book, but the bar was low. Like the first book, I was underwhelmed with the dating options. I was also turned off by the close proximity of her potential matches. Their interactions were overlapping in a cringy way. The biggest drawback for me was Tiwanda. She was incredibly difficult to root for or like. She complained about everything. She didn’t like anything or anybody. I couldn’t get past her abrasive personality. The ending left me feeling underwhelmed. We could’ve skipped the journey.

Nope
