Moql's mother is Folk, one of those tiny fairies who live hidden from mere mortals, and her father is human. Young patrons will empathize as this tiny changeling experiences the fear, sadness, and danger of not belonging. Set against the backdrop of a charming medieval setting, this award-winning audiobook addresses problems that are still, sadly, quite contemporary.

I have never heard such a good editor!!! I can tell who each conversational voice belongs to and she speaks the dialects so smoothly!

I have love both this book and this narration since I was a child and am thrilled to see my kids just as addicted. The play of perspectives in the story telling is excellent, the flavor of the setting is rich and full bodied, it is full of human(and not so human) foibles with just the right amount of magic. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

An imaginative and textured tale full of heart

A fantastic story for both kids and adults alike. My 10 year old son loved the story and the unique way the characters spoke.

An engrossing tale worth the listen.
