This was a slow and painful listen. The storyline was relatable. The characters felt real, but if it felt like the story was drawn out for some reason, maybe it was the narrator?

I would definitely recommend it because it was clear how God's timing is not ours. We always fall prey to our timing, and when we want or think how our lives should turn out. When we leave it to God, our situations work out so much better!

Praise God for His perfect timing!

Love the characters and getting to know each of them. I don't care for the ending. It doesn't fit. But, great story.

Beautiful story

I began listening to this book Sunday evening. I didn't want to put it down, it held my attention, and helped with a situation of my own. Kendra's Norman-Bellamy books are an inspiration, tackling real life issues. Don't ever stop writing!

Fell in love with all the characters and the intertwining of their stories. Essie visiting them was different but I get the point. the blanket reminded me of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I don't like having to wait too long for a conclusion because by that time I forget what happen. I overall love love love the story. 3:57 was my favorite though. Ms Essie was different this reading and it through me off a little because it didn't seem like the same person.

mixed feeling looking for the rest of the story
