I can see why Prince fell in love with her.

Mayte is charming, genuine and sweet. She is also an amazing storyteller.

This story is not all about Prince, and that is ok. Mayte had a life before him. She was a dancer at the age of three and had already accomplished so much prior to meeting Prince. And when they did meet, their love was obvious. You get an inside look of what it was like to be in their world.

Reading about the loss of their child was hard. But she managed to speak about it with so much grace. My heart broke for her, and for Prince.

Overall, it's such an interesting read for any fan or Prince. Or anyone who just loves a great memoir.

What does Mayte Garcia bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her beautiful speaking voice, her emotions, she breaks down in parts and laughs in others it was like having her with you telling her story.

Beautiful heartbreaking love story 💔

This book was well written and narrated.
I was impressed that Mayte took the high road and spoke lovingly towards Prince.
She successfully​ gave us her POV without putting Prince in a negitive light.
This book gave me the impression that Mayte is a good hearted person with a positive additude.
I have to wonder if these two had not had some of the circumstances​ surrounding them if they would have made it work?
I'm recommending this book to anyone who is a Prince fan.
I really enjoyed getting a peak in the very private artists life.
I hope Mayte continues to have a long and happy life.
And as for Prince..he may have the building but he will forever be in our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
