So many feels

A new twist on the Sovereigns and Fates. The Sovereigns of Death, Sorrow and Pleasure tempt fate for love. Great character development makes you feel for the Sovereigns as the Fates do what they do best. This story brings all the feels and leaves you wanting more.

interesting read

I liked the different voices used for the characters and how the fates had a distinct sound to them that almost had a creepy vibe to their voice which pulled you in and made you focus on what they were saying. review of the actual book is on Amazon.

The voice actors really brought the characters to life

Williams is a prequel to book one, Threads of Fate, in the Chronicles of the Sovereigns series. In this book we get a glimpse into the pasts of Death- Thalore’, Sorrow- Melora, and Pleasure- Sedara. All three stories are beautifully written, but Thalore’ and Lenora’s story has a special place in my heart. If you crave yearning, enjoy mythology, and are looking for something truly unique and beautifully written, I highly recommend this series. I loved the audiobook almost as much as the actual book. Hearing the characters brought to life was so amazing! Well done!

Terrific storytelling

The Mourner’s Song (TMS) is a prequel to Threads of Fate, a story of the Sovereigns who maintain Balance over everything. But do they?

They are bound by the law-to never love a mortal; for love changes fate and fate is meant to be unchangeable.

TMS tells the stories of three of the Sovereigns: Death, Sorrow and Pleasure. Each are tested when they fall for a mortal, causing fractures in the Balance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and the narrators who did a terrific job bringing the characters to life. Very well done! I would highly recommend this book.
