The world is going insane: A new recreational technology from Euphoria Incorporated takes society to extremes never seen before, and a strange movement known as The Assembly of Balderdash gains uncanny power that no one can explain. Growing up in the ghetto of Cincinnati decades earlier, Amira Steele didn't think she was anyone special...but little did she know that her childhood crisis of conscience would eventually lead her to the very center of the world stage. Her ambitious son Kyran is an aspiring politician who has very important decisions to make in his own right...and soon, the entire country will find that ignoring the truth is the one thing they can no longer do.

Wish everyone would listen to this. When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? A glimpse of “life as it should be.” Thank you, Kylian.

Engaging and meaningful for our times

Along with great character building and a fantastic collision of many interesting plot lines, it’s highly readable, funny, and absolutely perfect—a chilling warning—for 2024. From Euphoria to the Assembly of Balderdash to the rest…HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Orwell would be proud—this is the perfect prophecy / warning for 2024

I love how Kylian Gates develops each of his characters - great personalities. I also like how he warns us of “the storm” and each one of us has choices now that determine who we will be in when those days come.

Riveting book!

Nothing in the description or reviews of this book anywhere said anything about it belonging in Christian fiction, as that's the religion (according to this book, the only valid religion) this is about. It turns out that a little girl standing up for the truth -- except not doing so -- means something something gay/liberal/etc agenda.

I forgot to add taking over the world to my agenda!

The book highly lauds standing out and speaking your mind as a brave thing -- when you're surrounded by other people sharing the same beliefs and also speaking loudly -- along with 'traditional' roles of womenas caregivers and mothers, and men the ones who get things done.

I discovered this by following my favourite audio performer here and enjoyed his chatacterization as I waited for it to get better, but the story never did. Hilarious fact: this performer has also done hundreds of books of gay romance and erotica. He does a fabulous job of them, too.

Audible refunded me for this thanks to the very unhelpful description and categorization. But hey, if you enjoy this kind of thing, welcome to one of the best vocal performers on the platform. Just don't expect this as his usual fare, although most books are MUCH more honest about what they are to prevent surprises.

Didn't expect ultra xenophobic religion
