Vampires, vengeance, and a quest for survival–The Night Crew is a heart-pounding supernatural thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

After the brutal murder of his wife, Michael White is thrust into a world of unimaginable horrors. With no help from the local authorities, he embarks on a personal investigation that uncovers a chilling truth—vampires are real.

When he confronts his wife’s killer, he discovers the true nature of the monster who tore apart his life—a bloodthirsty vampire who has already claimed countless victims. On the brink of becoming the undead himself, Michael is saved by a team of vampire hunters known as The Night Crew. They offer him a chance at revenge and a shot at redemption.

Teaming up with these skilled hunters, Michael must navigate a dark, dangerous world filled with vampires and other supernatural creatures. But the road to vengeance is fraught with peril, and Michael’s humanity is at risk as he battles to destroy the creature that killed his wife.

Will Michael be able to seek vengeance against the vampire that shattered his life while retaining his own humanity, or will he succumb to the darkness that threatens to consume him?

I rarely write reviews, even if I don’t like a book. I often will read and listen to the same book. I started reading this and actually found the story engaging. I figured I’d buy the audible version for my commute. Holy heck, it’s terrible. The narrator is not bad but it’s absurd that the production company thought they should have a British narrator read as an ex Green Beret from Texas. Did they not care at all? Also, it sounds like this was recorded in a port-a-potty with a flip phone from 2002. It annoys me that a perfectly good book was ruined because the powers that be didn’t care. It’s a shame.

British narrator for a Texan main character???

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book had me hooked from the very first page! If you love creepy, edge-of-your-seat stories, this one delivers big time. The atmosphere is chilling, the suspense is nonstop, and the vampire lore feels fresh while still keeping that classic, eerie vibe. The characters are what really made me fall in love with this book. Every single one of them feels alive, layered, and memorable. The main character, Michael, completely stole the show for me—brave, complex, and someone you root for even when the odds seem impossible. Watching him navigate the terrifying world of shadows and bloodsuckers made the story impossible to put down.

It’s spooky in the best way, giving you goosebumps while still pulling you deeper into the story. I finished it wanting more, and I can’t stop thinking about it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a thrilling vampire read that’s equal parts scary and unforgettable! 🦇
