Great Book, Great Reading

Love everything D.J. Molles writes and Christian Rummel will always be the voice of Lee Harding. Excellent storyline.

absolutely loved both books

these where the first books I've heard from DJ Molles
it is by far the best performance I've heard since Steven King's IT.
amazing story and I loved the characters, I found myself cringing for them at times and cheering for them
I also caught myself laughing out loud while on the train for my commute. these books really crossed my favorite genres of post apocalyptic and fantasy.

DJ Molles has penned a 3rd riveting series that easily rivals his The Remaining and Lee Hardin series. This world is based on an earth 500 years after a world ending apocalypse. Humans are subjugated by genetically enhanced humans known as demigods. The demigods force the best human warriors to fight in a war designed to kill off the best human warriors and keep the human population thinned down to prevent rebellion and human uprising. Perry McGown is a halfbreed human/demigod with demigod abilities and a kickass team consisting of an excellent thief, a genius engineer, and a special forces style Legionaire deserter, and a sentient android. All learning teamwork and trust while trying to find a fabled weapon the demigods are deathly afraid of.

Very worthwhile follow-up

Great second addition, with a solid storyline, interesting new characters and top notch performance by Mr. Rummel. And yes...Stubbor remains in rare hilarious form...

Great sequel!

Really enjoyed to continuation of the story. Fun universe to experience. I think Stuber may be DJ's best character yet. Rummel does a great job narrating. Looking forward to the next one.
