Not your ordinary pirate story

I listened to the audiobook and James Shimo, narrator, killed it. This is my first book by Damien Casey and it won’t be my last. I love bizarro fiction and his short novella blends comedy and horror in a very irreverent way.

This is part of the black sails series that I discovered on kickstarter. I backed the audiobook for The Nine Teeth because it sounded interesting.

A group of pirates, lead by Lilith, are in search of nine teeth. If they gather all nine they will receive Satan’s treasure. Each adventure to get the teeth descends to insane situations. Be prepared for gore, sex, blood and a talking parrot that is more than he seems.

If you are looking for savory filet mignon you will be disappointed. This is more like a delicious hot dog with all the condiments on it.
