The Amazing Race

I’m honored to be one of the first reviews on this gem of a book. I absolutely loved listening to this book, and Andi Arndt was a perfect narrator for it. As a huge fan of The Amazing Race it was nice to get an insight into why the show was started in the first place as well as learn more about Elise Doganieri. While she has lived an extraordinary life she seems like a very down to earth and lovely person which comes through in how much she truly cares about The Amazing Race and traveling the world as a whole.

The book is exactly as described in the description. Neat little tidbits about the show as well as the history of some of the sites that were travelled to throughout the last 20 plus years of the show. I will say that the book form is probably the optimal version because in the end it is an excellent travel guide which is probably a little more accessible being able to read about the destinations. But then you would be missing out on Ardnt’s wonderful narration of it. So, maybe having both is the only correct option? Either way, if you’re a fan of The Amazing Race and want to experience some of the places visited for yourself there is no better one stop shop than this book.
