Mindfulness doesn't make other people less irritating, it makes us less irritable. I understand why you do what you do, because the ego in me sees the ego in you. Each chapter in this book is an episode from the "Buddhist Boot Camp Podcast", offering food for thought about the non-judgmental benefits of recognizing and acknowledging both the ego and the divinity within us all. It's not about living in a bubble where nobody pushes your buttons—it's about getting to a point where you don't have any buttons that can be pushed.

Another home run for Timber!

I am continuously blown away by his writing with every release. It is a breath of fresh air to have found a modern author that conveys Buddhism in such an easy to understand and easy to apply methodology.

This audible release did have a few editing issues in the last eight chapters. The app would signal that it was the next chapter about halfway through the previous chapter so if you are using the “end of chapter timer“ it would be off by a couple minutes. Otherwise, it was a phenomenal recording!

Phenomenal!

This is one of those life-changing books that the word would be a better place if everyone read it and took it to heart.

Everyone needs to read this
