She tried to make up for her lack of knowledge on how to say the words by taking twice as long to say them, adding misc syllables and emphasizing incorrect vowels (mind you, very often, half the words in a sentence are like this) essentially making whole sentences unintelligible. Sawan: Pronounced Sow-ahn, though narrated “Show-haaaan”. Shabd: pronounced shaw-bd was narrated Shoooow-bot”. Varnatmic pronounced “Var-not-mick” was narrated something like Var-an-a-ya-ta-mic”. Charan singh, pronounced “Char-an-singh” was narrated Chaaa-han Siing. Very distracting and took away much of the enjoyment that would otherwise have been possible with a different rendering of the story.
Good story and gist of Sant Mat & spiritual experience. - Narrator should have learned pronunciation of Indian names & words
