The narrator did an excellent job keeping me immersed in the story—I felt like I was back in middle school, experiencing all of life’s big feelings all over again. The pacing was sweet and steady, with just the right touch of mystery. A heartfelt, honest reflection of the realness and complexity of grief.

The narrator for this book did such a good job! I’m honestly picky about narrators and will sometimes dislike a book if the voice isn’t done well. But with this book, she did such a good job that I was more invested than I would have been just reading the book! It’s a little young for me, and some of the plot lines and writing style was cringe, but this is a book I would have looved as a pre-teen or young teenager.

Love the narration!!
