An Ending I Was Not Expecting

Enjoyable read with an ending that I did not see coming! When it got to the alternating timelines later in the story, it truly tied everything together. Chloe and Jake are both on a secluded vacation, with their individual groups, for much different reasons. Chloe needs some much needed R&R and to escape her reality. Jake is there on a forced work trip and he simply cannot wait to return home to his fiancé. They both began getting strange gifts delivered to their individual rooms and it is clear that the sender knows a lot about their past and childhood. As the gifts began to get more strange, neither of them feel safe.

Overall a good & entertaining read! The narrator did a really good job as they weaved between voices of adult men, women, children boys and girls also! True talent.
