If you liked Jakarta Pandemic, get this series.

By starting a "new" series with "The Perseid Collapse" Steven Konkoly didn't even try to "up sell" you on this book.

If you listened to the Jakarta Pandemic this series ties in quite well, however, if you didn't listen to JP, then you don't feel like you missed the start of the series.

I'm now waiting for Book 3 :)

Where does The Perseid Collapse rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The story line drew me in right away and kept my interest. I didn't realize there was a prequel so now I HAVE to get the first book and also the 2nd in the trilogy series in order to get the end of the story!!

Hopeful

I was excited to hear this after The Jakarta Pandemic, which I firmly believe is one of the best stories of the genre. I was glad to be back with these characters and hear how things continue after the pandemic. For the most part, I wasn't disappointed, the story was pretty engaging. The only issue is that it ended too abruptly and it seems they really could have continued on and found a better point to leave off until the next installment. That said, I will be anticipating the 2nd and I do recommend this one, especially if you were left wanting more after Jakarta.

Good action story well told by the reader. Main negative about this book is that it ends abruptly almost mid sentence. I have come to expect this from writers trying to lure new audiences to their series.
