Don't look now, but there are some new players in town! The Philly Commission 2.5 is a prequel to The Philly Commission part-3, and an official introduction to some of the new players in the game. The Philly Commission 2.5 is also an update on some of your favorite characters from parts 1 and 2. ***SPOILER ALERT*** Bird ain't dead! He is, however, mad as hell and very paranoid! Bird has no idea who shot him or why. The one thing that he does know is that he can't trust anybody. To have a person like Bird thinking this way is bad news, and a very dangerous thing for everybody he has ever done business with! In Bird's absence, Man-Man has mysteriously re-appeared. Man-Man doesn't just pop up and fall into place either. Man-Man returns to take Bird's place as the boss of The Commission. Man-Man has no plans to run the family the same way that Bird did though. Man-Man's plan is to do the direct opposite of everything that Bird has done. That includes making former allies into enemies and making former enemies into allies, including Tre, who was dealing with some issues of his own at the moment. Tre is still awaiting trial for the "Tasker Street Massacre." Tre's world is shaken up when Holmesburg, the prison that he was in while awaiting trial, suddenly closes. Tre and most of the other inmates are transferred to the newly opened CFCF jail right across the street. The new jail is right across the street from the old one, but the two jails are as different as night and day. Tre's whole business and survival is suddenly in jeopardy with the change. With no other options left for him, Tre takes a shot in the dark and reaches out to Rameel, who he befriended while locked up back in Chicago. That one phone call puts a series of events into motion that will drastically change everything...for everyone!!! The story ain't over! Alliances have shifted and players in the game have been lost, but like always, there's money to be made and The Commission are looking to be the ones to make it! African American Crime Fiction
